Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:21
Once upon a time, you were just a person.
But now that you’re in Christ, you are a strange and peculiar, brand new creature.
The outer shell may look the same, but it is being tangibly transformed by the weird newness you carry on the inside of you.
This new you can do everything that Jesus did when He was on the Earth, and even much more. (John 14:12)
You are living within a context, but you are not limited by it.
You have a new nature, new instincts, new abilities and new capabilities.
You are something that you have never seen before…something that the world hasn’t seen before.
And today, you have the amazing privilege of looking at yourself in the mirror of the Word, and living based on what you see.
