The sower soweth the word. – Mark 4:14
The truth behind GIGO – Garbage In Garbage Out – is that your outputs are determined by your inputs.
Lemon trees are the result of you planting lemon seeds.
A 365-page novel is the result of you sitting down to write a page every single day for a year.
Bulging biceps are the result of you doing one push up…a thousand times.
It may not be a best-selling novel, or the most fruitful lemon tree or the biggest biceps that anyone has ever seen.
But the nature of what you reap is determined by the nature of what you sow.
Now here’s the challenge.
The sower sows the Word.
What would happen if you gave yourself wholly to sowing the Word into your life and nurturing it all the way till harvest?
What would happen if you ploughed acres of your heart, cleared out all weeds, stones, thorns and thistles…and dedicated that space to allowing the Word to dwell in your heart richly?
What if you determined to find fulfilment and satisfaction within the Word of God?
What if you dared to believe that the Word is enough?
