Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: – Ezekiel 28:3
Tyrus was wiser than Daniel. And Daniel was 10 times wiser than all the magicians and wisemen in the realm.
Tyrus used wisdom, understanding and “traffick” (merchandise, traffic, trade) to increase his riches. Those are the same tools you can use to get rich.
Tyrus thought he was God…it’s not bragging if you can prove it, right?
Tyrus set himself up as God. Daniel humbled himself to worship the only true God.
It’s possible for the wicked to prosper. It’s possible for those with no regard for God to have more silver and gold than those who do fear God. All they have to do is apply wisdom, understanding and traffick.
But there’s more to life than being wiser than Daniel.
Daniel isn’t the finish line. God is.
