And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. – Matthew 3:17
The starting premise of Jesus ministry, was the fact that God loved Him and was well pleased with Him.
Yes, He so loved the world that He gave Jesus (John 3:16)…
But before He entrusted Jesus the assignment of being the lamb of God slain before the foundation of the world, He loved Him.
And before you worry about whether you’re being effective or not, take a minute right now to remember this one thing:
God loves you.
