Diplomatic immunity

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. – 2 Peter 1:4

Diplomatic immunity:

the privilege of exemption from certain laws and taxes granted to diplomats by the country in which they are working.

Ambassador:

an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country.

According to Scripture, we are Ambassadors:

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. – 2 Corinthians 5:20

In other words, as ambassadors for Christ, we have diplomatic immunity – sovereign exemption- from the “corruption that is in the world through lust.”(2 Peter 1:4)

Corruption:

changed from its original use or meaning to one that is regarded as erroneous or debased.

Jesus came to redeem us from the state of being perishable (John 3:16), and to restore us to our original and eternal state of being “in the image and likeness of God”. (Genesis 1:26)

So when you see people around you experiencing corruption and decay in their finances, health, marriages, relationships…

Remember that you’re exempt from that, because you’ve got Diplomatic immunity through the precious promises in God’s Word. (Psalm 91:8)

You’ve got Diplomatic immunity. Make sure you use it.
