Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his wrists. – Acts 12:7
God does His best work while you are sleeping.
He pulls Eve out of Adam. He makes a covenant with Abraham. He has a life-changing conversation with Solomon. And he orchestrates and initiates a prison break for Peter, the night before his scheduled execution.
While you’re working, God seems to be sleeping. But the moment you rest in Him – lean back and rest your weight on the relationship you have with Him – that’s when God does His best work on your behalf.
While you’re sleeping, God is working…so go to sleep.
