Back to the beginning

So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” – Exodus 3:10

Moses was raised in Egypt, then he fled from Egypt as a fugitive – closing the Egyptian chapter – only to have God send him back to the very place he ran away from.

The difference though was that after 40 years of being schooled and shaped by the stubborn sheep he cared for, he was ready to take on the assignment that God had hinted at in his beginning.

The same is true for you.

When you wanted to do it, you weren’t able to. And when you didn’t feel able to do it – or had given up on it altogether – that’s when God tells you it’s time for you to conceive and birth that dream…when it’s “too late”.

Many times your big next step forward looks a lot like going back to square one.

But even if it looks the same, there’s one thing that has really changed…and that’s you.

Which was the purpose of your journey all along.
